Controlling Panic Attacks Without Anti Depressants – Any Tips?

  1. Muscular and breathing relaxation exercises work pretty well for me. Going to the gym at the end of the day helps too, as does hydrotherapy.

    Learn to recognize that you are indeed having a panic attack and that helps a lot, then try to understand why you are having it. These 2 simple things can help you eliminate majority of anxiety and panic attacks; for the rest of the times, try closing your eyes and take a deep breath.

    If panic attacks are common, you should either try to understand what causes them and work it out or possibly seek help from a psychologist if you feel overwhelmed. If it’s a result of drug use, reduce the dose or avoid that particular drug, some people are more sensitive than others.

    I’m not a doctor, just telling you what worked for me, it may not work for you.

    Take as needed for panic attacks. They work within ten minutes. I hate antidepressants too!

    What i would do is go outside and breath and look at things, i know it sounds stupid but i would have done anything to stop them and it did xx

    Yes. You can try PureCalm. It worked for me. Or there’s another product called Anxius. It works just like an antidepressant and is considered a natural form of antidepressant.
